Moment of truth…
Let’s face it, summer is already here and I’m still trying to get my summer body ready. After Coachella, I fell off my fitness grind and my motivation dropped to 0%... it’s been such a struggle to get back into the routine of working out! While I tried to get my booty back into the gym, I also heard about a Fit Tea that the Kardashian's drink. This fancy tea promotes weight loss and digestion, so I obvy wanted to give it at try.
I’ve been seeing so many different fitness and detox teas out there but what I really liked about this one was that it had all natural ingredients:
Organic Green Tea
Oolong Wu Yi
Garcinia Cambogia Extract
Now that all the ingredients were in check with what I want going into my summer body goal, I ordered it and couldn’t wait to start! I actually ordered (3) 14-day Fit Tea’s so that my mom, younger sister and I could do it together!
During the Fit Tea Detox…
I started the 14-day Fit Tea Detox on a Monday to have a clean start to my week! I drank it on an empty stomach and it was followed with my usual morning homemade juice that consisted of beets, celery, carrots, cucumber, and turmeric root. I decided that if I was going to change my routine, it has to start with my full diet and exercise and not expect this tea to bring all the magic.
I was definitely more mindful of everything that was going into my body while on the detox. I wasn’t drinking any alcohol during the week, only enjoyed some wine for my boyfriend’s birthday during the weekend because I wasn’t going to let him drink by himself! I MEAN! It’s fine - it’s fine! But seriously, I wasn’t drinking alcohol during the week, only partaking sometimes in the weekends and was also making conscious decisions of choosing healthy foods to eat. I had more vegetables and fruits throughout the day and wouldn’t snack late at night. I also drank a lot A LOT of water!
During this detox, I also took my booty to the gym and on hikes! I would mostly do Runyon Canyon or Griffith Park hikes on the weekends (Saturday & Sunday). I would go to the gym Monday through Thursday! During the second week of my detox I began that BBG workout by Kayla Itsines.
Now what happened…
I’m already a HUGE tea drinker and loved the taste of the tea! I didn’t add any sugar or lemon to it. First day I immediately needed to go to the restroom and it kind of continued like that for the rest of the week. I felt like I had more energy in the mornings and I also saw a huge improvement with my bloating, which I loved!
All in all, I lost about 5 lbs and noticed a major difference with bloating. It would be nice to say that I owe it all to the Fit Tea detox, but I know that I was also eating healthy and exercising at the same time. No, I don't look like a Kardashian (I wish), but this tea definitely motivated me to jumpstart my health grind and girrrrrrl, it's been working!
